More About The Six: The Kakun Six Mattress provides a supportive and durable base for your sleep system. This is our lowest-profile Kakūn mattress, perfect for children, back and tummy sleepers, or those who prefer a firmer feel. Side sleepers may add a latex or wool topper for extra pressure point relief and a minimalist, modular solution.

Able to mold to your unique body shape, it provides comfort and support where you need it most through a counter pressure action—minimizing discomfort and reinforcing rest.
Naturally thermoregulating, our incredible GOTS certified organic wool is luxuriously soft, breathable, and helps you sleep at your optimal body temperature—unlike synthetic mattresses that trap in heat and release off gasses. What is loft?
Loft (height and density) directly impacts your level of comfort and support. It’s determined by the amount of latex and wool fill used in your mattress’ layers. The higher the loft (number of layers), the higher the support and comfort customizability.
How do I choose what support and comfort is best for me?
- For Side Sleepers we recommend customizing their comfort with medium support paired with extra softness
- For Back and Stomach Sleepers we recommend customizing their comfort with firm support paired with medium softness
Is the Organic Kakūn Mattress suitable for those who perspire or heat up at night?
Our Organic Kakūn Mattress is made only from all-natural organic materials in order to ensure breathability and airflow. Rather than absorbing body heat and pushing it back towards you, the mattress is thermal regulating to help keep your body at an ideal temperature for sleeping comfortably.
What if my new mattress doesn't meet my support and comfort needs?
You have 180 days from the date you receive your mattress to be sure you’re happy with its support and comfort level. If you decide within that period that you’d prefer a softer or firmer layer than your original choice, we will replace the layer of your Organic Kakūn mattress, at no charge. Learn more
Can I put my new Organic Kakūn Mattress on my current box spring?
No. It is important for your Kakun Organic Mattress to be well supported by a strong, slatted system. Slats should be no more than 3” apart, with a centre rail for queen and king sizes.
Need to replace your current box spring or frame? We offer Canadian-made foundations, built with natural materials, to provide the exact support that these mattresses need.
