Made from a machine washable blend of organic cotton and organic wool, Coyuchi's Sequoia blanket is a versatile staple you’ll reach for year round. This layer offers the best of both worlds: a soft, cottony feel paired with the warmth of wool. The two fibres are twisted together before weaving to create tonal and textural depth. The fabric is brushed for extra softness and finished with a double needle stitched edge.

Care Instructions
All of Coyuchi's organic cotton products are machine washable. They recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colours, with cold water and a natural, plant-based laundry detergent. They do not recommend using whiteners, as bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colours; when needed, use only non-chlorine bleach.
Line dry, or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. Place a set of our wool dryer balls inside the dryer to naturally soften the fabric and reduce drying time. Use a warm iron as needed.

CanadaLovely and warm
Wonderfully soft. I appreciate that it is a bit warmer than just a cotton blanket, as the wool adds insulation…yet is never too hot. A great addition to my Coyuchi blanket collection.

CanadaWonderful "Blanky"
This blanket works for me because I tend to alternate between overheating and feeling chilled (my time of life-what fun). It's natural materials combine perfectly to regulate my sleeping temperature which in turn promotes a great all night sleep for me. That's saying something and I highly recommend the blanket.

CanadaPerfect Throw
I was looking for an organic throw to cozy up in during chilly nights and I'm glad I found this! The blanket doesn't shed and it's great to know the material is natural and made without chemicals. I use it a lot. It was absolutely worth the money.

CanadaThe best of both worlds!
After hours and hours of research, weighing the pros and cons of wool vs. cotton (warmth vs. shedding), I stumbled upon this hybrid cotton x wool throw blanket and it really is the best of worlds. It is lightweight, but warm, does not shed at all, the gray color is subtle and blends perfectly in the living room. Resthouse shipped it very quickly, and it arrived beautifully packaged.
