GOTS-Certified Organic Wool
Our GOTS-certified organic wool (CU 1010074) does what other materials cannot; it wicks away moisture, stays fresh, and acts as a natural fire barrier. It’s also anti-microbial, resistant to dust mites, and offers natural temperature regulation to help you sleep cool.
GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton
Kakun's quilted mattress covers are made with breathable GOTS-certified organic cotton (CU 1010074); one of the softest and most comfortable fabrics. Organic cotton is cool, wicks away moisture, and, better still, is more sustainable than conventional cotton.

Can this mattress be used for infants?
This mattress is designed for children who are transitioning away from or have already graduated from a crib. For babies, we recommend our Kakun Organic Crib Mattress
Is this mattress waterproof?
The mattress itself is not waterproof. We recommend using a washable, moisture repellent mattress protector with your child's mattress, such as the Kakun Waterproof Mattress Protector or Kakun Wool Moisture Barrier.
Is this mattress flippable?
Yes. The mattress casing can be fully unzipped, allowing you to access the two layers inside for easy flipping and rotating. We recommend you flip and rotate your child's mattress layers every 3-6 months.
