Obasan Designer Package Foundations are specifically made to extend the lifespan of your mattress. They are hand-crafted with the finest Quebec FSC wood, finished with the same organic cotton jersey as Obasan mattresses, and padded with layers of organic wool. Each mattress foundation is 8" high and comes with recessed square wood legs to reduce the chance of knocking toes or knees in the night. And in order to maximize breathability and support, this foundation is equipped with 2" firm wood slats across its length and width.
