Handsomely Handmade

Inspired by the sculptural art of basket-weaving, this organic cotton quilt mimics the imperfect, organic curves of nature. Handstitched kantha thread is quilted throughout, creating a reversible product with contrast stitching that stands out against the undyed backing* (*white is monochrome). Like our crinkled percale fabric, this woven quilt has a relaxed drape that embraces its casual feel with every wash. Mid-weight and perfect for layering, with a simple ½” binding.

Care Instructions

All of Coyuchi's organic cotton products are machine washable. They recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colours, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. They do not recommend using whiteners, as bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colours; when needed, use only non-chlorine bleach.

Line dry, or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. Place a set of our wool dryer balls inside the dryer to naturally soften the fabric and reduce drying time. Use a warm iron as needed.

Manzanita quilt doesn't disappoint!

This is the perfect quilt for us. We found that most quilts have become too warm for us, even in winter. This quilt manages to be comfortable in all seasons. Very pleased with this purchase.

Perfect summer quilt

This quilt is a delight! It is beautifully made, with a smooth, soft surface feel and a medium-light weight that lends itself well to the summer months. I like to keep my bedroom on the cooler side, so I layer it over a sheet and a light wool blanket and sleep beautifully. It’s challenging to find GOTS certified bedding in Canada - big thanks to Resthouse for stocking this line!!
